Terrestria is a biomes mod built around detail rather than sheer count. Instead of adding tons of loosely related regions, it focuses on 17 major biomes and then supports them with 24 component biomes, which is what gives the world its cohesive feel. The stated goal is a polished, visually appealing set of biomes that still sits comfortably next to the base game.
The first set covers a wide spread of terrain: Redwood Forest and Lush Redwood Forest, Sakura Forest and Japanese Maple Forest, Cypress Forest and Cypress Swamp, Hemlock Rainforest and Snowy Hemlock Forest, plus Caldera, Volcanic Island, Dense Woodlands and Rainbow Rainforest. A later dry-themed update added Canyon, Dunes, Lush Desert, Oasis and Outback, and several biomes come with their own variants for extra variety.
Nine new wood types and a broad selection of foliage arrive alongside the terrain, so builders get fresh palettes to work with rather than only new scenery to look at. The mod runs on Fabric and Quilt for Minecraft 1.21.1 and needs Fabric Loader and Fabric API in place.
