Moog’s Soaring Structures raises your eyes above the treeline by scattering floating islands across the Minecraft sky. Each one carries a building made entirely from vanilla blocks and entities, so the new structures blend into the world instead of clashing with it, and the skyline stays believable even in a heavily modded setup.
Reaching an island is only half the trip. The structures hide loot to collect, enemies to deal with, dungeons to work through and villagers going about their business, which turns an ordinary building trip into a short adventure. Because everything is built from familiar blocks, exploring the interiors also doubles as a source of building ideas.
Flexibility is a big part of the design. The mod drops into any modpack, and it can be installed on the server alone if you would rather not ask every player to change their setup. Every aspect of the mod can be adjusted with datapacks, and a config pack template with full instructions is available. This build covers Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.
