Paradise Lost is a skylands dimension mod that picks up the thread of the legendary Aether and gives Minecraft players somewhere fresh to go once the Overworld and the Nether have stopped feeling new. Getting there takes a frame of Bloomed Calcite flooded with water; step through it and you arrive in Paradise.
What you do up there is left open. You can settle down and build a cozy home in the sky, wander the new biomes foraging for plants and resources, or head for the expansive structures scattered across the dimension, where new equipment, valuables and other unique rewards are waiting. Paradise has its own mobs and its own resources, along with a long list of functional and decorative blocks to build with.
The dimension is deliberately built to sit inside vanilla progression rather than beside it. The style matches the base game, and Paradise is meant to open up only after a world has been properly explored, so it reads as the next step rather than a shortcut. The whole thing runs on Fabric for Minecraft 1.18.2.
