YUNG’s Better Dungeons rebuilds the plain vanilla dungeon into something worth hunting for, then goes several steps further by adding three brand new dungeons. Alongside the redesigned classic rooms you can run into Catacombs, Fortresses of the Undead and Spider Caves.
There is an extra Nether layer as well. Small Nether dungeons can be found scattered throughout the Nether, but only once the feature has been switched on by hand in the mod’s config, since it is an opt-in extra rather than something that is active from the start.
Compatibility is part of the design. The mod is intended to be fully compatible with every worldgen mod, including the other YUNG structure mods such as Better Mineshafts, Better Strongholds, Extras and Bridges, as well as Repurposed Structures, which even offers an additional data pack containing repurposed versions of the small dungeons. YUNG’s API needs to be installed for the mod to run.
