Coordinates Display is a client-side heads-up display that keeps the information you usually have to dig for on screen at all times. It covers your precise position in the world, the chunk you are standing in, the direction you are facing, the biome you are travelling through and even the version of Minecraft you are playing, all updating in real time.
How it looks is up to you. A wide range of display modes covers everything from a minimal readout to a compass style or a layout tucked against the hotbar, and a separate position screen lets you scale the HUD and move it anywhere on the in-game display. Text colours can be customised freely, and an intuitive configuration screen exposes the rest of the settings.
Two extras make it useful well beyond reading numbers. Your death position is shown on the death screen and logged in chat when you respawn, so returning to your items is straightforward rather than guesswork. Position marking saves any spot you care about for quick navigation back later, and marked positions can be shared with other players, which makes coordinating exploration on a server much easier.
The mod runs on the client and needs the BoxLib library installed alongside it. A comprehensive set of customisable keybindings covers the common actions, so the display can be adjusted without leaving the game.
