Campfires are one of the most useful blocks in Minecraft farm design, but a wall of them fills the screen with smoke columns that cost frames and get in the way. Smoke Suppression fixes that by stopping campfires from producing particles at all when a chosen block sits directly underneath them.
Out of the box the mod watches for hoppers and every rail type, which covers most item-collection and minecart builds. Both standard and soul campfires are handled, and because everything runs on the client it works in single player with no server-side setup.
The block list can be edited freely, inverted so that listed blocks are the only ones that still smoke, or bypassed entirely with an option that suppresses every campfire regardless of what is below it. Settings live in a small JSON config file, and adding MidnightLib together with Mod Menu gives you an in-game options screen; without them the mod simply runs on its defaults. Campfires that are already placed need to be re-placed or reloaded before a change takes effect.
