World Play Time answers a question the vanilla world list never does: how long have you actually played this save? The mod prints the play time in the top-right corner of every entry in the world selection screen, so a single glance shows which world has had the most hours poured into it and which one you barely touched.
The number is taken from the world’s own Play Time statistic, which Minecraft already tracks in the background. That means worlds you created long before installing the mod display their play time right away, with nothing to switch on inside the save itself.
It is a purely client-side Fabric mod that does nothing on the server side, so it only changes your own menu. At well under a megabyte it is the kind of quality-of-life addition you install once and simply forget about.
