Carrying milk usually means handing a whole inventory slot to a bucket that empties after a single drink. The Splash Milk replaces that with properly bottled milk: a Milk Bottle, a Splash Milk Bottle and a Lingering Milk Bottle, all made and used the same way potions are in Minecraft.
Getting hold of them is deliberately simple. A shapeless recipe with three glass bottles and a bucket of milk gives you the basic Milk Bottle, and the brewing stand turns that into the splash and lingering forms. The starting base is flexible as well, since a plain water bottle works just as fine as an awkward, mundane or thick potion.
One quirk is worth knowing before you build a brewing loop around it: because of how the vanilla brewing stand is designed, only a single milk bottle can sit in the stand for each brew. Plan your batches around that limit and bottled milk becomes a natural part of any potion-heavy base.
