Cute Mob Models rebuilds how Minecraft’s creatures look, trading the blocky vanilla shapes for the character designs the MobTalker mod is known for. What a mob does stays the same; what you see across the world changes completely, so the mod slots into an existing save as a pure cosmetic layer.
The package covers both generations of the project, so the original models and the later second set arrive together in a single install. A few switches reach past the models themselves, including small cleanups such as stripping the smoke or the rods off the blaze. Lining a creature’s model up with its hitbox is part of the toolkit too, though that option sits disabled for now because of crashes and compatibility problems.
This is above all a client-side project, and the models render for whoever has it installed. Putting the files on a server changes only two things: GhastS spawning becomes possible, and the hitbox handling that is currently turned off would apply there. Anyone who wants the new look on a shared world simply adds it to their own client.
