Spice of Life: Maid is an add-on built on top of Touhou Little Maid with one clear goal: make feeding your maids actually matter. Instead of food being a throwaway resource, every new dish you hand over becomes a small step in a long-term progression system.
The mod counts the unique foods each maid has eaten. Once a maid passes a milestone number of different dishes, she permanently gains new hearts, extra armor value and extra attack damage, and her favorability rises at the same time. Variety is the point, so handing over the same dish again and again will not move a maid forward the way a well-stocked kitchen does.
Everything is adjustable through the configuration. You decide where the milestones sit and how many hearts, how much armor, how much attack damage and how much favorability each one is worth, which makes the mod easy to tune for a casual world or a tightly balanced modpack. To check progress, simply interact with a maid while holding a book and she will show which food types she has already tried.
