Snuffles fill the emptier corners of snowy Minecraft biomes with a creature worth travelling for. They are fluffy, big-tongued mobs whose fur is covered with frost, and a frosty Snuffle leaves a trail of snowflakes behind it as it wanders. Holding a potato is all it takes to get their attention, since they flap their tongues and run straight at you, and potatoes are what breeds them as well.
Their fur is the reason to keep a herd. Shears harvest the fluff, trimming the excess and exposing the eyes hidden underneath, while magma cream or fire takes the frost off a frosty coat. A warmed-up Snuffle is not stuck that way either: leave one out in the open while it is snowing, or let it walk into powder snow, and the frost comes back. Slimeballs cycle an individual through four different hairstyles, so animals in a herd can be told apart at a glance.
The mod comes with fluffy building material as well. Snuffle Fluff blocks and their matching Snuffle Fluff Carpets are pure decoration, and the frosty versions do something extra. Step on a Frosty Fluff block or a Frosty Fluff Carpet and it throws out snowflakes, and a Frosty Fluff block with no block underneath it sends snowflake particles into the space below, which makes for wintry floors and ceilings that react to whoever walks across them.
