The lava seas of the Nether are among the emptiest spaces in Minecraft. Nether Depths Upgrade fills them in, adding flora and fauna to the burning oceans so that the dimension has something living below the surface as well as above it.

Nine fish are added in total, all of them at home in the lava rather than in water. Reaching them means going in after them, and that is what the new enchantment and the new potion are for: together they give you a way into the lava seas of the Nether.

It stays a small addition rather than a full overhaul of the dimension, and it needs Geckolib 3.0 to run. The Fabric build targets Minecraft 1.21.1.
