Cobblemon normally spawns every member of a species at the same scale, so one encounter looks much like the next. Cobblemon Size Variations changes that by letting Pokémon spawn naturally in different sizes, and how far a size may stray from the norm is set in the mod config.
Custom sizer algorithms decide how those sizes are distributed: one biases the result toward the average, the other rolls sizes fully at random. The rest is handled in a server-side configuration file, where the size bias and the mod’s crafting recipes can be toggled, so a whole Minecraft server shares one set of rules.
Scaling is kept in sync over the network with size-update packets, so all players see the same model scale instead of a different one on each client. A /pokesizer command is included for resizing a specific Pokémon by hand, and the mod is built for Cobblemon 1.6 and newer on top of Architectury.
