Shulker Box Slot uses Curios API and Trinkets API to add a new Back slot to the player inventory, and that slot accepts shulker boxes. While a box sits there, a keybinding set to X by default opens its contents straight away, turning a shulker box into part of your carried gear rather than another item to juggle.
The point is freer, faster storage handling. There is no need to place the box down and break it again to reach what is inside, no normal inventory slot is sacrificed just to keep it around, and no scrolling through a packed inventory looking for the right box. The mod was previously known as Curious Shulker Boxes and Trinket Shulker Boxes, and this version is built for Minecraft 1.13.2 on Forge.
