Cozy Home is a vanilla-friendly furniture mod that slots straight into the look of Minecraft while giving builders far more to work with. Its furniture spans rustic, traditional and modern styles and even reaches into evil and ominous sets, so there is something to match a cottage kitchen, a grand castle hall or a clean modern living room.
The pieces do more than fill space. Chairs can be sat on and tucked under tables, drawers and kitchen counters hold items, tables link up into larger surfaces, and lamps light a room and stack into taller fixtures. Wall clocks and grandfather clocks read the in-game time on demand, mirrors reflect the player, and fountains store liquids while sprouts pour them out for decorative water features. A telescope even shares facts about the game’s lunar cycles when used under an open night sky.
Almost everything can be personalised. Cushions and drapes can be applied to furniture, a dye vat and paint brush let you recolour blocks again and again, and the sink can strip dye back off an object. Furniture sets run from oak, spruce, birch and jungle through cherry and bamboo, plus crimson, warped, iron, glass, undead and ominous variants, with new glass blocks and panes for finishing touches. Some pieces and sets are not craftable at all, so exploring the world is part of completing a collection.
