Day Counter puts one line of text just above your hotbar showing which in-game day you are on, and it keeps counting in real time as the world ticks over. The number is simply there while you play, which is exactly what you want when the point is to keep playing rather than to stop and check.
It was built for 100 days videos, so it does not stop at day 100, and it comes in two flavours: one that treats your first day as day 1 and one that starts at day 0. Pick whichever matches how you count on camera or in your world notes, and the rest of the run is tracked for you.
The counter follows your world’s own day value, so setting the time with a command moves the display as well – and that same change shows up in the debug screen, which is worth remembering before you skip ahead. It ships as both a datapack and a mod for Minecraft 1.18.2 across Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, weighs almost nothing, and can be used freely in videos or worlds with no attribution asked for.
