Pixel Perfect is a shader pack built from the ground up to serve as a practical replacement for the default Minecraft visuals rather than pure eye candy. It reworks the vanilla style with a focus on color and functionality while keeping gameplay intact. Three presets, Vanilla+, Vanilla++ and Vanilla+++, let you choose how close to the original look you want to stay.
The pack is packed with small enhancements and unusual extras. Foliage does not simply sway at random: separate gusts of wind push it, each moving its own way, the weather decides how fast, where and how hard those gusts blow, and every dimension has a wind profile of its own. You can also pick between several darkness options, including Hardcore Darkness and Streamer Mode lighting, and enjoy an invisibility distortion effect.
Customization goes very deep: contrast, wind speed and the invisibility distortion are just a few of the many values and effects you can adjust. Players comfortable with Python can use a custom script to load and configure their own color grading profiles. The pack works with Iris and OptiFine and supports game versions 1.20 through 1.21.1; development has ended, so newer game or Iris releases may cause issues.
