CRT Shader is a stylized shader pack that gives Minecraft the look of an old CRT screen. It imitates visible pixels, warps the picture with lens distortion and adds chromatic aberration, color bleed, posterization and scan lines on top for a retro feel.

Customization is a clear focus. The list of options is still fairly limited, but most of the effects can be adjusted, so you can shape the retro look to match your taste. The pack works with both Iris and OptiFine and targets game versions from 1.8.9 up to 1.20.1.

The effect is best experienced in game, so screenshots do not fully show how it looks. Keep in mind that playing with it enabled for hours at a time can strain your eyes.
