Leashable Players does exactly what the name promises: a lead can be tied to another player rather than a mob, so anyone in your world can be walked around like a pet. Drift far enough apart and the leash starts pulling, and further still and it breaks.
All of the tuning happens through gamerules. You decide whether the mod is enabled at all, the maximum gap between two players before the lead snaps, and how far apart they need to be for the pulling to kick in.
The mod stays tiny and focused on that single idea, which makes it an easy addition to a Minecraft world where the entertainment comes from dragging friends around rather than from new blocks or items.
