Create: Components and Additions is a deliberately small add-on for the Create mod that fills in a few parts a kinetic build tends to miss. Its headline block is the Brass Gearbox, a gearbox whose sides you can cover one at a time by right-clicking them with brass casing in hand. A covered side stops transferring rotation both to and from that direction, so a single block can route power exactly where a contraption needs it.
The inverted gearshift and inverted clutch follow the same low-friction idea. Right-click either block with a redstone torch and its logic flips: with no signal it behaves like the powered version of the normal block, and once redstone power reaches it, it simply passes rotation through like a shaft. Ponders are included for the new blocks, so the behaviour can be checked in game rather than guessed at.
Rounding the set out are a Brass Basin and a Brass Chain Drive, which work exactly like the originals but come in the brass palette, handy when a factory is themed around brass. The whole package targets Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge and stays small enough to drop into an existing Create-based world or modpack.
