The AS-350 Ecureuil, better known as the Squirrel, is one of the most common light utility helicopters in law enforcement service, and this conversion brings it to Los Santos in police trim. It is a modest, workmanlike aircraft rather than a spectacular one, which is exactly what makes it fit so naturally into patrol and air support roleplay.
It is delivered as an Add-On, so it joins the game as a new aircraft alongside the stock helicopters, and instructions are included for anyone who would rather install it over the Police Maverick instead. Multi livery support is built in, with an LAPD skin and a California Highway Patrol skin supplied out of the box. One limitation worth knowing: the blurred rotor texture only exists in the red and white LAPD style, because rotor blur cannot be switched through the livery system.
The model itself is fully finished, with all LOD levels from L0 through L4 so it stays clean at distance, a detailed cockpit with working gauges, plus breakable glass and boot. There is even a small touch in the back, where the headphones hanging in the cabin swing along with the helicopter as it moves.
