The CV-22B Osprey is the tiltrotor used by the US Air Force, a machine that takes off like a helicopter and then tilts its rotors forward for horizontal flight. That is exactly how it behaves here: the flight mode can be switched in the air, so you can lift off vertically from a rooftop and then cruise across the map like a fixed wing aircraft.
You can install it as an add-on or let it take the place of the Velum, depending on how you like to keep your vehicle list. The interior is enterable and has a reworked seat layout, the doors open, and the rear cargo doors can be opened as well. In theory ten people fit inside, although the AI rarely manages to board the rear properly. There are no front doors on the real aircraft, so passengers step through the body there.
The exterior uses new materials with normal and specular maps, and the damage model holds up under fire. Bullet holes are visible, the glass shatters when shot, the body is dirt mapped, and the engine nacelles can break off in a crash. Custom handling and a set of new lights complete the package for anyone who wants a proper military transport in their fleet.
