Script Hook V + Native Trainer is a popular GTA 5 PC modding framework that allows custom ASI plugins to access the game’s native script functions. It provides the foundation required by many GTA 5 single-player mods and scripts.
This distribution includes Script Hook V together with the latest ASI Loader and Native Trainer. The ASI Loader allows GTA 5 to load custom .asi plugins, while Native Trainer provides an in-game menu for managing a wide range of gameplay options.
Native Trainer can be activated with F4. Menu navigation uses the numeric keypad, with NUM2, NUM8, NUM4, and NUM6 for navigation and NUM5 for selection. NUM0, BACKSPACE, or F4 can be used to go back.
Installation is straightforward: copy ScriptHookV.dll to the main GTA 5 directory where GTA5.exe is located. The included dinput8.dll provides ASI Loader functionality. NativeTrainer.asi can also be copied into the game directory if you want to use the included trainer.
Script Hook V is intended for GTA 5 single-player modding. Using modified files or Script Hook V in GTA Online may result in a ban, so mods should not be used for online play.
