Features:

  • Hold a rebindable key (tilde by default) to vein-mine a whole connected ore deposit in one go
  • Vein range is calculated from your tool's real swing stamina cost, not a fixed block count
  • Works with pickaxes and augers; stone tools can be enabled by server admins
  • Automatically detects modded ores at world load with no manual configuration needed
  • Drops are sent straight to your inventory and merged into stacks
  • Crosshair badge shows how many blocks you can actually mine before you commit
  • Includes a 5-rank Vein Miner perk tied to Strength and mining skills
  • Respects land claims, trader protection and the world edge
  • Admin command lists all detected ores, tool categories and lets you edit them live without a restart
  • Fully multiplayer-compatible with server-side enforcement of all limits
  • Client-side HUD settings (badge position, size, counter) can't be overridden by server admins

Zay's Veinmine is a mining tool that lets you break an entire connected ore vein in one action instead of chipping away block by block. Holding a key while mining an ore causes the whole vein to collapse at once, with all drops landing directly in your inventory.

The system ties vein range to your tool's actual stamina cost, so better tools, perks and buffs genuinely extend how much you can mine in one go. It also supports auger fuel costs scaled to ore toughness, a visible before-you-commit mining tally, and optional support for stone tools and diggable terrain types like dirt, sand and gravel, all configurable by server admins.

It's built to work automatically with modded ore types, respects land claims and trader zones, and includes a dedicated in-game perk line for players who want to invest further into vein mining efficiency.

This mod suits players and server admins who want faster, more rewarding ore gathering without breaking game balance or needing manual compatibility patches for modded content.
