Electrified Steel Blocks introduces a set of powered steel blocks and ladders designed to work as passive electric traps against zombies.
When connected to power, these blocks electrocute any zombie or player that touches them, walks on them, or strikes them in melee, triggering a shock cycle that paralyzes, ragdolls, and knocks back the target. The set includes the main block in every standard steel shape plus three climbable electrified ladder types, complete with spark effects and sound cues that only appear while the block is powered.
Crafting is handled at the Workbench using steel, iron, electrical parts, and fence posts, and each block consumes 50W, so power planning matters when building larger trap lines. XP from electrocution kills goes to the block's owner, with automatic sharing for party members.
This mod suits players who want a built-in, wire-connected defense system for bases and want visually effective, balanced electric traps rather than relying only on vanilla fences.
