Features:
- Counts items in containers you placed within a configurable radius (default 20 blocks) while crafting
- Automatically pulls missing ingredients from those containers when you queue a craft
- Works at backpack crafting, workbench, forge, campfire, chemistry station and cement mixer
- Only recognizes containers you placed; world loot, POI crates and trader stock are ignored
- Skips containers locked by other players
- Outside the crafting window, inventory counts stay accurate with no hidden items shown
- Multiplayer safe – container changes replicate normally and nothing duplicates on relog
- Configurable through ChaoticReach.cfg: enable/disable, radius (1-100 blocks), debug logging
- Must be installed on both the client and the server since the crafting UI is client-side
- Requires EAC disabled; built as a Harmony mod that auto-disables if anti-cheat is active
- Version 1.1.2 is compatible with game version V3.3 (b18) and newer, including V3.4
Chaotic's Reach changes how crafting works by letting nearby storage count toward your available materials. Instead of opening chest after chest to gather parts, you can simply stand near your containers and craft directly.
The mod automatically detects items in chests you've placed within a set radius, pulling whatever's missing straight into the crafting queue. It works across every station, from the backpack menu to the forge and chemistry station, and ignores anything you don't own, like locked chests or unlooted world containers.
It's built for players who manage busy bases with multiple storage chests and want a smoother crafting flow. Since it relies on client-side UI changes, it needs to be installed on every client as well as the server, and anti-cheat must be turned off for it to function.
