The 2016 BMW M3 F80 arrives here as a full add-on, dropping into the game as a new vehicle in its own right rather than taking the place of anything already on the road. Dimensions, weight, top speed and handling have all been matched to the real car, so it drives like a compact sports sedan rather than a generic fast coupe.
The detail work runs deep. The interior and exterior use realistic materials, the door sills, frames, hoodliner and trunkliner are modelled, and there is a full 3D engine, trunk and undercarriage underneath. The engine and exhaust vibrate while running, the instrument cluster is fully functional, and the interior lights and illuminated buttons switch between red when lit and white when off. Glass breaks with proper cracks and picks up dirt as you drive.
Customisation is the headline feature, with more than 140 tuning and wheel options to work through and a full template that covers the tuning parts as well as the body. Five paint slots handle the body, brake calipers, wheels, interior and ambient lighting separately. Version two is a complete overhaul of the original release, and the car works in both Enhanced and Legacy setups as well as on multiplayer frameworks. The only known gap is that there is no debadged version.
