The E46 M3 is the car a lot of people still think of first when they hear the badge, and this 2005 version can go into the game either as a brand new add-on vehicle or as a replacement for the Sentinel, depending on how you want to set things up. The conversion has been sitting finished for a long time and was released by popular demand.
Both the exterior and the interior are high quality, with working dials behind the wheel, detailed mirror reflections and glass that reflects properly and breaks convincingly. The textures and bump maps are sharp enough to hold up in close-up shots, and custom handling has been written for the car so it corners and accelerates on its own terms instead of borrowing stock physics.
There is a small but useful tuning selection too: two front bumper options, a rear bumper, a rollcage and four different spoilers, which is enough to take the car from stock to track-focused. It suits street driving, canyon runs and photo work equally well.
