Remote Crafting is a quality-of-life tweak that lets you craft and repair items using the contents of nearby storage instead of only what's in your backpack. As long as you're standing inside a land claim you own or are allied with, the crafting window can see into your chests and crates.
When you craft something, the required materials are pulled straight from the container holding them instead of forcing you to manually move items into your inventory first. The mod respects existing container locks and land-claim ally permissions, so it never grants access beyond what the game already allows. It works the same way in both single player and multiplayer setups.
The mod intentionally leaves some systems untouched — money in chests isn't pooled, quality or modded items still have to be carried on you, and the forge, chem station, and nailgun block repairs behave exactly as in vanilla.
This is a good fit for players who are tired of hauling materials back and forth between their base storage and crafting stations, and who want a straightforward, configurable way to streamline base crafting without adding new items or systems to the game.
