E C H O // Adaptive Backpack is a configurable inventory overhaul for 7 Days to Die 3.3 that turns the player's Backpack into a page-based storage system instead of a single fixed grid.
It calculates real inventory capacity from the active UI layout and chosen page count, and shares that calculation across the Backpack, Pack Mule progression, carry-capacity effects and Death Backpack recovery. Vehicle storage, drones and containers get separate safety handling so the expanded player inventory doesn't interfere with other storage systems. An optional add-on, created separately, gives equippable backpack items their own dedicated storage pages.
This mod suits players who want more inventory space without losing track of items during transfers, death recovery or UI changes, and who are comfortable using a custom in-game settings menu to adjust page count and layout options.
