This tweak fixes a long-standing hidden limit in the game that silently caps Blood Moon hordes at 30 zombies, no matter what your world or server settings say. With it installed, the BloodMoonEnemyCount value you choose is finally respected in full.
It also offers an optional bonus: by default it removes the usual scaling of zombie numbers tied to gamestage, so the same horde size appears from day one through the late game. Players who prefer the original gradual increase can simply delete the included config folder to revert to vanilla scaling.
For those who want a custom middle ground between the standard 32 and 64 zombie options, the config file can be edited directly to set values such as 45 or 50, giving a bigger horde without a major performance hit.
This is ideal for server admins and players who want denser, more intense Blood Moon fights without being capped by an invisible vanilla limit. It is server-side only and not compatible with EAC.
