Atmospheric Weather is a large-scale overhaul of the weather system, turning it from a simple set of states into a full dynamic climate experience with dozens of new conditions, extreme events and fresh visual and sound effects.
Every biome gets its own weather set: pine forest, burnt forest, desert, snow and wasteland all feature unique variations of clear skies, overcast weather, fog, rain, snow, storms and more, each with different temperature, wind and cloud behavior. Destructive events like tornadoes, earthquakes and toxic rain add real danger, while wind now affects aircraft and the camera for a more immersive feel.
The mod also reworks temperature survival mechanics, adding new overheating and freezing systems along with extra clothing and crafting options for protection against extreme heat or cold.
This is aimed at players who want a deeper, more immersive and unpredictable weather experience, with full configuration options available through biomes.xml and Config.json for fine-tuning the system to their liking.
