The 2017 Yamaha YZF-R6 is one of the most recognisable supersport machines on the road, and this add-on version drops it into the game as a brand new bike without touching anything already in the vehicle list. The model is high quality throughout, with detailed bodywork, crisp mirror reflections and a rider whose hands sit properly on the handlebars.
Both an analog and a digital speedometer are modelled and working, the lights function as they should, and dirt builds up on the bodywork as you ride. Three paint slots cover the main body, the secondary panels and the wheels, so you can mix and match colours until the bike looks the way you want it.
Tuning is where this one really opens up. Two Akrapovic exhausts, a racing chassis kit that strips the mirrors and plate holder, a single-seat conversion, a windshield, plate holders with LED indicators, brake and clutch levers and rider pegs are all available. Nine extras add decals, engine covers, a frame slider, rear stand hooks, a sprocket guard, a tank pad and a rear axle cover. Note that the tuning indicators do not glow and the tuning windscreen shows only as cracked.
