The 2018 Yamaha YZF-R1 and its track-focused R1M sibling arrive as a detailed superbike for Los Santos. The bike comes with the standard feature set you expect from a quality vehicle: working lights, functional dials and a dirt-mapped body.
Tuning is a big part of this release. You can fit different accessories through the tuning menu, including a custom tail tidy, a fender eliminator and a titanium 3/4 exhaust, or remove the tail entirely for a stripped-down track look.
Later updates reworked the shaders, the first-person perspective and the handling, fixed the seating position so the rider’s feet rest on the pegs, and improved mirror and livery reflections. It is added as a new vehicle, so none of the original bikes are overwritten.
