Supply and demand shift with the seasons, and Seasonal Prices carries that idea into more of the economy in Farming Simulator 25. Keeping an eye on the market through the year pays off, and buying seeds or lime well before the planting season starts can be worth both the time and the money.
Eleven fill types gain seasonal variation: forage, pig food, diesel, electric charge, methane, lime, fertilizer, liquid fertilizer, herbicide, silage additive and mineral feed. Products such as TMR, fuel and herbicide normally sit at a fixed price, so putting them on a yearly curve makes the game feel far less static and gives each year its own rhythm.
Base prices stay exactly as the map and any other mods define them, so the script layers variation on top of the existing balance rather than rewriting it. Because of console limitations the variation affects the sell price only.
One compatibility note is worth knowing in advance. A hotfix for a base game bug that affected mods changing the same fill type means this script now overrides BigBags Everywhere, so pig food spawns as pallets instead of big bags. An optional BigBag patch is available if you want the original behavior back.
