This sound addon brings the missing hum of a refrigerated trailer to life. It activates dedicated reefer sound definitions that work together with the Sound Fixes Pack, giving cooling trailers a startup chime and a continuous engine hum heard from inside the cab.
Once installed, the reefer unit beeps and starts its engine after the trailer is coupled, and the sound loop continues as long as the trailer is attached, carried through the trailer's tire sound system. It stops automatically when the trailer is decoupled. A built-in workaround through the voice navigation menu also lets players force-enable reefer sound for owned reefer trailers that aren't on the fully supported list, though without the startup effect.
The addon fully supports base game reefer trailers as well as several DLC trailer packs, including Schwarzmüller, Krone Cool Liner, TIRSAN SRI, Schmitz Cargobull S.KO Cool, and Kögel Cool trailers. It works across Freight Market, External Contracts, Quick Jobs, and Ownable Trailers modes, making it suitable for players who want more immersive and realistic trailer audio while hauling refrigerated cargo.
