Features:
- Guarantees at least one large city per map starting at 6K size
- Scales city, town and Old West settlement counts with map size and menu sliders
- Full support for 10K (XLarge) maps with minimum counts for cities, towns and Old West settlements
- Removes strict biome locks so cities, towns and Old West settlements can spawn in Forest and mixed biomes
- Rebalances district ratios, giving large cities denser downtown and industrial zones
- Sets new and old residential zone splits in towns to roughly 45% and 35%
- Adds duplication limits per district type to reduce repeated or overlapping blocks
- Lets traders like Rekt and Bob appear across multiple biomes instead of a single one
- Built entirely through XPath changes, replacing an older version made for an earlier game build
- Requires generating a fresh random world (RWG) after installing to take effect
RC Urban Trader Expansion is a world-generation tweak for 7 Days to Die that reworks how the random world generator places cities, towns, and traders. It replaces an older version built for an earlier game release and has been rebuilt for the current game version using XPath edits.
In-game, it increases the minimum number of large cities, towns, and Old West settlements on bigger maps, especially 10K/XLarge worlds, while still scaling down sensibly on smaller maps. It also breaks the usual biome restrictions, letting cities and traders spread across Forest and mixed biomes, and it tightens up district density so downtown and industrial zones feel more packed. A new anti-duplication system helps stop identical blocks or districts from spawning right next to each other.
This is aimed at players who want denser, more varied urban generation and traders that aren't locked into a single biome. It works alongside the game's own RWG size settings, so a new random world needs to be generated after installing for the changes to apply, with Large or XLarge map sizes recommended to see the full effect.
