Iowa Plains View is a standard-size map for Farming Simulator 22 based on the terrain of the US state of Iowa, reshaped for gameplay rather than copying any real town. It leaves the direction up to you: arable farming, productions, forestry or all three at once.
The main farm comes with pre-placed buildings, a cow barn, chicken barn and pig barn plus starter machines — and every placeable on it, including trees, fences and even the farm road, can be sold if you prefer a clean slate. Across the map you will find 30 fields from small to big (two with grass missions), two forestry sites, collectibles, a BGA, traffic, pedestrians, extra paintable terrain textures and Iowa licence plates.
Production chains cover dairy, sawmill, carpenter, bakery, oil plant and sugar mill, joined by a watermill that grinds corn into corn flour for the bakery’s corn bread, a popcorn factory for popcorn and popcorn butter (both need sea salt from the store), greenhouses with apples, oranges, lemons and pineapples, a juice factory and a propane-fired corn dryer. Goods go to the livestock bale sell point, Jackson’s farm and grain sell point, the garden restaurant and town store, or by train to Ravenport.
Weather and seasons got attention too: the growth calendar follows the region, deep snow weather leaves snow on the building roofs, roads turn white when it snows and wet when it rains, and fallen leaves appear on the road in autumn. A 561 MB map with plenty of room to grow.
