The John Deere DB120 was the largest production planter in the world when it was released in 2009, and this mod brings the 2012 model year to Farming Simulator 22 as a 1:1 replica. Its 120 ft (36.5 m) toolbar carries 48 row units on 30-inch spacing, and at 15 kph working speed it is built for covering enormous fields in a single day — the real machine is rated at around 90 to 100 acres per hour at 5 to 5.5 mph and is claimed to be 30% more productive than the 36-row DB90.
Transport is handled by folding the frame into five sections, and the weight is realistic too: over 20 tons empty and almost 24 tons with seed on board. Configurations cover tanks, wheels and wheel brands, wing wheels and wing covers, work lights, StarFire GPS, the rear attachment and the rear vacuum air blower, so you can spec the planter exactly the way you want it.
For the agronomy side you can enable no-till with configurable row cleaners and add a liquid fertilizer set complete with a hose for liquid carts that ties in with the rear attachment. An Unverferth conveyor option makes refilling faster. The model features over 1300 moveable elements, real-placed flexible dynamic hoses, working pressure gauges, proper safety labels and decals, realistic vacuum blower sounds and folding animations, and a fully UDIM PBR texture set that wears and washes — all for a store price of 345,000 $, matching what the planter retailed for on release.
