Calmsden Farm brings a real farm from Gloucestershire in the UK to Farming Simulator 22. The map is a replica of the actual farm and its surroundings, complete with a real-life PDA map, UK license plates built into the map, custom grass textures and loads of custom sounds.
There are 36 fields with missions in small, medium and huge sizes, 5 sell points, a BGA and a sawmill, plus two placeable areas where you can build your own farm or production. Over 50 new HD models and custom textures with parallax mapping give the map its own look, while a custom lighting setup delivers a deeper blue sky, darker nights and stars with constellations.
Seasonal visuals change with the year: summer BBQs, mowers and washing lines, falling leaves in autumn, snowmen and icicles in winter. Birds fly across the map, pedestrians walk the lanes and collectables are hidden around the countryside.
The current version adds linseed as a new crop with a custom UK geo, Precision Farming support with a custom Gloucestershire soil map, HD cow parsley and nettle weed textures, and lets every player open gates and doors in multiplayer. Because the map structure changed with the new crop, this version needs a new save.
