Cosmetic Armor System (CAS) is a support mod that connects custom armor sets to the wardrobe and cosmetic system. It allows players to unlock and display custom outfits the same way vanilla gear works.
The mod introduces three configurable modes: Standard, which requires scrapping armor to unlock cosmetics; UnlockAll, which immediately unlocks every cosmetic including DLC content you own; and Disabled, which turns off the cosmetic feature entirely while keeping the UI for compatibility.
Because it relies on C# scripting, EAC must be disabled, and the mod needs to be installed on both server and client for multiplayer sessions. It is built to act as a single shared compatibility layer for multiple custom armor mods, reducing conflicts and simplifying future updates.
