The Tohatsu Runpet CR50 brings a piece of 1960s Japanese motorcycle racing history into the game. It's a recreation of the small but historically significant 50cc racer built by Tohatsu, a brand once known for its lightweight two-stroke machines.
This mod adds a faithful version of the Runpet CR50, based on the 49cc single-cylinder Runpet Sport platform that Tohatsu also sold to privateer racers. Even after the manufacturer's bankruptcy in 1964, the bike kept racing in private hands, most famously under the Simmonds brothers in the United Kingdom, and was later entered at the 1967 Isle of Man TT by rider Allen Hutchings.
This is a great pick for fans of vintage motorcycle racing and classic two-stroke machines who want to experience a rare slice of 1960s Japanese racing heritage in Assetto Corsa.
