This mod recreates the Derbi 50 GP, a genuine factory racing prototype built in 1967 at Derbi's Martorell workshop in Barcelona. Before it earned the famous nickname 'Red Bullet' in later years, this machine was already a dedicated works bike ridden by factory riders including Ángel Nieto and Barry Smith.
In Assetto Corsa, the mod brings the tiny but potent 49.8cc two-stroke engine to life, complete with its side rotary valve induction and oversized finned cylinder for better cooling. The multi-speed gearbox, developed specially by Paco Tombas, reflects the real bike's advanced technical setup for its era, while the lightweight tubular steel chassis and custom swingarm capture the handling characteristics of a genuine 1960s factory racer.
This mod is ideal for fans of classic motorcycle racing and vintage Grand Prix history who want to experience one of the rare factory prototypes that laid the groundwork for Derbi's dominant run in the World Championship.
