Exhaust Extension puts a realistic smoke particle effect on every vehicle in Farming Simulator 25. Instead of a constant plume, the intensity reacts to what the engine is actually doing, so a machine working hard looks very different from one idling in the yard.
Three situations push the effect further: firing up the engine, delimbing or cutting a tree, and running a vehicle with a high damage value. Neglected machines give themselves away with a dirtier exhaust, which adds a quiet reason to keep the fleet serviced.
The script is also open to modders. Overall intensity, individual factors and the thresholds behind them can be overwritten per vehicle, and the delay after an engine start is set in the vehicle XML with a default of one second. The included readme explains how the values are set up.
