The Old Cowshed is a placeable animal pen for Farming Simulator 22 modelled on a cowshed built around 1980. It houses up to 35 cows, costs 70,000 $ and has a daily upkeep of 70 $, making it an affordable, period-correct barn for smaller dairy farms.
The layout follows the classic old-barn workflow: feeding and adding straw happen in the middle, milk is taken from the front and slurry is collected from the back. The milking area itself is not enterable.
There is no manure storage in this cowshed. You can still spread straw to simulate bedding down the boxes, but it is not rendered visually. A later update added multiplayer functionality and the missing collisions.
