The John Deere 437D Delimber is a forestry machine for Farming Simulator 22 that removes the branches from trees you have felled with a feller buncher or a chainsaw. Grab the bottom of the trunk with the claws, feed it into the delimber, close the claws and run the tree through by moving and rotating the arm — the machine only delimbs while the claws are closed.
Once the trunk is clean, the saw on the rear of the machine cuts it to whatever length you set — the F1 menu and the in-cab display both show the length that is about to be cut. Trees up to 25 m are the recommended size for processing.
For players steering with keyboard and mouse instead of two joysticks, automatic grab head rotation can be switched on while delimbing. The saw is toggled with B and the automatic head rotation with V by default, and every control can be reassigned in the controls settings. The machine delivers 280 HP, reaches up to 10 m and costs 325,000 €.
