Better Flares replaces the light flares of Euro Truck Simulator 2 with completely redone ones. Headlights get realistic beam patterns in 6 colours, with support for up to 50 modded trucks, and they are now split into a pattern module and a lamp module with a significantly longer range.
The Traffic Addon modifies the SCS AI traffic with 9 headlight colour variants and 2 red brake signals, and it now requires the Sound Fixes Pack, otherwise traffic will not spawn. The City Lights Addon, also available in a fog version, dims the street lamps, makes yellow lights brighter and orange lights softer and improves the shading of the flares.
Version 4.9 also fixes headlight flares shining through models and is compatible with game version 1.61.
