The Axe is a hand tool for Farming Simulator 25 and a cheap way to get started in forestry. At $50 it costs a fraction of a chainsaw while still bringing trees down.

The trade off is speed and reach. Chopping takes noticeably longer than sawing, and the axe is limited to trunks up to 1.1 m in diameter, so larger timber still calls for proper equipment.

It is listed in the chainsaws category of the shop, which makes it easy to find, and at 0.33 MB the download is small enough to add to any save without a second thought.
