Normally the game always uses midsummer sun times. This change moves the defined day to the Wednesday of the current week, so sunrise and sunset follow the real calendar: long nights and short days in winter, the reverse in summer.
Because sun times depend on location, they are applied correctly wherever you drive, as long as map mods place roads and cities in the right spots. It should work with every other mod; just give it higher priority than graphics, map or weather mods.
