This mod is a tuning override for The Sims 4 that rebalances income from careers to make earning money feel like more of a challenge. Every currently available career, including odd jobs, work-from-home assignments, teen jobs, part-time positions, and active careers, has its payout cut by half.
Promotion bonuses are also scaled down to match the lowered salaries, so climbing the career ladder no longer brings in the usual large cash rewards. Because the mod is split into separate files per expansion pack, players only need to install the ones matching the content packs they own, while the base game and teen career files work for everyone regardless of expansions.
This is a good fit for players who enjoy a slower, more realistic financial progression in their Sims households and want career income that feels less generous than the default game setting.
